Clinicals & Residency
All Saints University makes the necessary arrangements for our students to do clinical clerkships in the United States, Cuba, Mexico, India or Canada in ACGME accredited/teaching hospitals. Clerkships predominantly take place in the United States. Students who complete the Basic Sciences program with outstanding results will be placed in clinical rotations directly afterwards. However, some students are advised to sit for the USMLE Step 1 and then continue with the clinical rotations. Our focus will be on obtaining and maintaining high quality clinical centres for our core and elective curricula. Visit this site regularly for updates!
TRANSFER STUDENTS
Transfer students from Accredited Medical Schools are welcome to apply for Clinical Rotations with All Saints.
All Saints requires that all students who wish to do their Clinical Rotations must attend the USMLE review program (4 months) if they have not already successfully passed USMLE Step 1. Students are advised to inform the Administration, at least two weeks prior to commencement of the program, of their intent to begin Clinical Rotations with All Saints.
Presently, Rotations are available in Maryland, Illinois, Georgia, Indiana, Texas, India and the Caribbean.

STUDENT INSURANCE
The government requires that students obtain proper health insurance before they arrive on the island. There will be no exceptions to this requirement. International Student Insurance (http://www.internationalstudentinsurance.com/) provides various links that may assist you in your search for the right insurance plan.
INDEMNITY/MALPRACTICE INSURANCE
All students are responsible for obtaining malpractice insurance prior to commencement of their clinical rotations. All Saints will assist students with information concerning insurance companies which provide this service.
Please note that the cost of malpractice insurance is not included in the tuition fees. The cost usually is approximately US$ 1500 per year.
Residency
The academic requirements for starting residency training (post graduate clinical training) in the United States are the completion of a Basic Sciences Program followed by clinical clerkship and completion of parts 1 and 2 of the USMLE. All Saints University has developed a network of doctors and specialist physicians that will provide its students with special guidance and tips to assist in the search for a residency position.
The licensing boards of most states require that the post graduate clinical training be done only in ACGME accredited hospitals.
