Campus

The university is located in  Aruba's capital city of Oranjestad. Histo/path and anatomy labs are well equipped with hi tech equipment and models. Free Wireless internet access is available throughout the ASUM campus. ASUM also has its own bus service for students at a lesser cost than public transportation - you will be transported directly from your residence to campus and back.

Housing:

Houses, apartments and rooms belonging to the local community are available for students to rent. The housing coordinator of the school makes all necessary arrangements to accommodate students upon their arrival in Aruba.

 

Transportation:

Buses conveniently ply between San Nicolas and Oranjestad every hour. If they wish, students may rent or buy vehicles locally at fairly reasonable rates.

 

Recreation:

The island of Aruba is one of the most well known and sought after holiday resorts in the Caribbean. Almost all sporting facilities are available in the cities, along with tonnes of other recreational opportunities and tourist attractions. Whether it be fine dining or snorkeling which catches your fancy, you're sure not to be disappointed. A broad variety of hotels and restaurants cater to a wide range of cultural cuisines (far Eastern and Western).

 

Weather:

Aruba enjoys a dry and sunny climate which is kept pleasant and temperate year-round due to the cooling effects of the trade winds. The average annual temperature is 83 degrees Fahrenheit (27 Celsius), and rainfall amounts to just 17 inches a year, most of which occurs during the months of October, and November. Aruba is located well below the hurricane belt.
